My daughter is extremely picky, and after trying about 20 different vitamins and refusing to take all of them, she loves these vitamins! They are delicious and not too hard like some gummies get. She loves the blue gummies in particular, which is not a super easy color to find with other vitamins. I wish my daughter wasn't so picky, but I am finally happy to find a vitamin she loves and also one that contains both calcium and vitamin D, which she doesn't get enough of, having a dairy allergy.
While taking a Nutrition course in college I was told to find a vitamin and perform an experiment. I was to mimic the pH of the stomach and place this vitamin into the solution. Then, every 5 minutes swirl or stir the mixture to track how well it dissolves.
My conclusion is that this vitamin is not releasing the vitamins or minerals when they are needed and it's very likely they are passing right through your child.
I'll now stop giving my child gummy vitamins and if I must, stick with liquids or the candy-like chewables.
Very disappointed in this company and all companies.
